Views and Vistas

ViewCottesbrooke Hall is renowned for its wonderful parkland setting and the many stunning vistas that have been created by landscapers past and present.

One of the most celebrated is the view from the South Terrace Lawn at what is now the rear of the house. From here can be seen the lake and, sited on a ridge three miles to the South East, Brixworth Church - considered one of the most imposing architectural monuments of the 7th century.

Slightly to the left appears the Lime Avenue (pictured right), planted in 1982 with a "keyhole" eyecatcher on the wooded ridge.
